Most scientific endeavors aim to solve near and long term problems - to create solutions that will carry the human race into the next age - be it here, tomorrow, in space.
AEON is from the Greek word Aionos meaning “forever”, or “eon”. This name is meant to evoke a metaphorical feeling of consequence, and tie into the field of science's mission of improving life on earth and beyond.
The challenge of this project was to find a name and logo that articulated the vision of a life science community that offered the nation’s brightest minds a place for work and play.
Our key objective was to develop a flexible identity that would evolve over time - broad enough to encompass the diverse set of potential project uses, with the ability to attract a both life science employers and employees.
